- – For residents who are out-of-state, download the State Summary Criminal History Record Form and the FD258 form.
- – Attach $25for payment in the form of money order or personal check and send to California Department of Justice Records Review Unit for processing of the request.
To challenge the criminal records:
- – Fill up BCIA 8706 or the Claim of Alleged Inaccuracy or Incompleteness included in the mailed report
- – State the reason or basis for the inaccuracy and provide proof to support the claim
- – Mail to the Records Review Unit
